Nexus 21 Systems

We are proud to be now Partnered with Nexus 21 Concealment Systems. These guys have really raised the bar in motorized lift mechanisms. When we started in the business almost 20 years ago lift mechanisms were extremely expensive, very loud, custom built to order only and outright unreliable. Until recently not much has changed with the companies that produced these units. Our choice of lifts was limited to these companies who did little to nothing to advance their product lines. Nexus 21 has changed the game by providing lift mechanisms that are ultra reliable, super quiet, normally shipped in 3-4 days and best of all….affordable. This pricing broadens the scope of use from just tv displays to storage space to appliance access and more. Tv show features DEG on Green technology

Paul with Design Engineering Group discusses emerging Green technologies on a Home Tech segment for the Texas Top Builder tv show in north Texas. These products not only improve a homes energy efficiency but also improve ease of use and overall aesthetics in a residence. Products from Savant Systems, Lutron lighting and shade systems, Nest and others are featured.

DEG adds new Partners

Design Engineering Group is proud to announce the addition of several new Partners to our line up.

 

James Loudspeakers makes the most innovative architectural speaker designs we have ever seen. One design that we have already installed on a project mimics the the small 3 and 4 inch light fixtures found in many new homes. The woofer is enclosed in a custom aluminum enclosure mounted before ceiling drywall or other finishes and the mid-high driver installs and is serviceable from the speaker grill in the finished ceiling. Meraki has managed to manufacture the highest quality network appliances in the industry. Not only are they well made, they have the only all cloud based management products on the market. This innovation got them bought out by industry leader Cisco Systems.

Planar is the industry leader in high end video wall solutions. We have just specified in a new video wall system in a commercial project to be completed this month. Check the Gallery page soon to see the final product.

Screen Innovations is the Austin, Texas based company we have chosen to use for all of our new projects when it comes to projection screen systems. They constantly push the envelope of screen design to move their product far above others in the industry. The Black Diamond material combined with a Zero Edge frame design gives the image the look of a large flat screen combined with image brightness and contrast only found in pitch dark rooms in the past.
